CHEF YIANI

Head Chef at Shambala Estate

Since the age of eleven, I've been immersed in the vibrant world of hospitality, learning the ropes in my family's bustling restaurants. Serving and nourishing others—whether strangers, friends, or family—has always been a cherished tradition in our household, pursued with unwavering enthusiasm and heartfelt dedication.

As I honed my culinary skills, I realized that cooking was more than just a task; it was a canvas for self-expression. The intricate world of herbivore cuisine fascinated me, presenting a challenge far beyond the immediate gratification of animal fats. My relentless curiosity led me to the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine, where I discovered the profound concept of food as a healing force. This journey into conscious eating revealed that true nourishment extends beyond the stomach and taste buds to the very essence of our being.

I learned to orchestrate ingredients in a symphony of flavours, blending modern culinary techniques with the rich traditions, seasons, and symbolisms of global cuisines. This path has now led me to Shambala Estate, a sanctuary that inspires and elevates my culinary artistry. Here, guided by intuition and a deep understanding of ingredients, I am free to create and serve from the heart, striving to touch souls through my food. This defining moment as a chef is a testament to my passion and dedication.
